Awesome area for hikes and geocaching!

Great walk if you follow the river but all the other trails end in sandpits and private property.

Had a lovely walk here in October, but like another reviewer mentioned, once the trail turns away from the river and loops back towards rt. 70, we found ourselves on a trail marked "Chapman" that led us directly into an expansive sandpit with no clearly marked continuation. After trying a few different routes that all led to the sandpit, we had to turn around and re-trace our steps back along the river. Hiking along the river is beautiful and peaceful, but navigating what seemed like a simple loop was difficult. I would happily hike in this area again with a better map or clearer trail markers.

Open trails. Relatively flat. Long trail next to Nashua River is beautiful in all seasons. Longer loops than other local trails. Off leash.

AWESOME for walks
